MEETING WITH MD & CEO OF OUR BANK

Comrades,

We had our first meeting today with our MD after his assuming office as CEO/MD. It was a good gesture on his part to ask what we expect from IOB. We requested him to advocate our cause with IBA and DFS in respect of 4 major issues of pension updation, 100% DA neutralization, reckoning special allowance for terminal benefits and subsidizing medical insurance premium. We explained the rationale behind all these issues. We also discussed about a few residual issues at bank level and sought his intervention in respect of medical insurance claim settlement. He wanted a brief note from us on medical insurance to help him take up with insurance company. The meeting was positive and encouraging. We thank our MD for his patient hearing. 

We also met one of the EDs Mrs. Sreemathi. There were pleasant exchange of views concerning Bank’s growth. We thank her for taking note of our views. 
We are hopeful of fruitful outcome on most of our issues.
