Mega Show of Unity and Solidarity by ARISE.

A Conference of Par Excellence. 

Dear Comrades,

It was a matter of great satisfaction to both of us to participate in the Conference of our Beloved ARISE which was founded in the year 2002 by Comrades Karunakaran and Rengarajan with the active support of IOBOA  when we were the President and General Secretary of IOBOA. The unstinted support continued  with greater vigor and conviction by Comrades Anand Kumar and J D Sharma and their successors . The present Leaders of IOBOA  Comrades Premkumar and Ramakrishna are extending their support continuing the legacy of IOBOA.

Holding the Conference in the Historic Kamarajar Arangam itself speaks volumes about the intention of the Central Unit Leaders of ARISE to make this Conference a great event truly reflecting  the aspirations and expectations of ARISE Comrades from all over. The arrangements, be it beautiful and elegant Stage Decorations with vibrant messages about our Beloved IOB and our  organisation, stay arrangements for Comrades coming from distant places, Food and dining arrangements for the members and guests and above all conducting the Inaugural Function and the Business Session in grand style suiting the Stature of ARISE, the conscience keeper and the Pride of AIBPARC. The presence of Leaders of affiliates of AIBPARC, Former Senior Executives of IOB led by Shri N R Natarajan , our sister organisation IOBRA  President Shri A L Chandramouli , IOBOA General Secretary Premkumar , AIOBEU General Secretary Shri Balaji showed  the Unity and Solidarity of the Movement of the serving and the retired members. Gracing the function by the Managing Director and CEO Shri Ajay Shrivastava Ji gave  comfort and confidence to our members about the concern the Bank is having for its Retired Staff. Comrade Suprita Sarkar, General Secretary AIBPARC conveyed how deeply the Apex Organisation AIBPARC, CBPRO and the entire Bank Retirees Movement  Value our ARISE. Com Nadaf praised the organization for its commitment to the cause of Retirees. Working Presidents of AIBPARC Comrades Kuppuswamy, A N Krishnamoorti and Leaders of Tamil Nadu State led by Secretary Comrade Chandrasekhar graced the Conference.

The General Secretary Report was brilliant, intellectual and thought provoking. Two days program  was Soul Satisfying giving opportunity to Comrades giving nostalgic reminiscences of their Service days generating positive vibes and stronger bonds among the IOB Family with  a  redoubled sense of Comradeship . The highlights of the conference were the participation of Lady members in good numbers , even from places as distant as Kolkata and their participation in the discussion on General Secretary report. Com Sumati Aiyer of Canara Bank Retired Officers Association virtually joined our volunteers Force bringing cheer to all of us.

We very sincerely convey our deep appreciation to the Visionary Directions of our Beloved General Secretary Com. Karunakaran, Simple Silent Unassuming  but very Meticulous President Rengarajan, the Man of everybody with enormous Zeal and Enthusiasm Anand Kumar,  the Man Friday , the Nerve center of ARISE, Thyagarajan with his highly dedicated Team of Volunteers who made the Conference a Grand Success and Memorable. The involvement of our IOBOA Staff, past and present by joining the Central Team of volunteers reflects the inclusive family bonding among all of us. Hats off to you Comrades. 

Comrades You have made ARISE  the True Conscience keeper of our Movement and the pride of AIBPARC have emerged as a Role Model Organisation .

We are proud to be part of you and we feel convinced that our resolve to support the birth  of ARISE  at that time  has now proved to be Greatest Gift of IOBOA to the Bank Pensioners and Retirees Movement who have successfully resolved Many issues like Family Pension Improvement and crusading with full force and conviction the issue Updation of Pension, Medical Relief and Special Allowance. 

No doubt we have many miles  to go  But we are equally determined to March Ahead come what may .

We Salute the organizers and volunteers of this Historic Conference  of ARISE.
