NEW MEDICAL INSURANCE SCHEME – BANK CIRCULAR ISSUED

Our Bank has now issued Circular No.69 dated 15.10.2018 regarding Renewal of New Medical Insurance Scheme, which is attached herewith.

Loan facility from Bank available at 10.45% at present with 10 EMI.

 

Procedure for Payment of Insurance premium online :-

1.  First we have to go to our bank website  www.iob.in
2.  Choose the menu in black strip “Staff and Ex-Staff”
3.  Go to Retiree Portal (second one) click on ‘view’
4.  Login with Roll Number and Password is your DOB(ddmmyyyy)
5.  Click on “Click Here to renew Your Medical Insurance”
6.  Click on Radio Button of Dependents available OR No dependents as applicable.
7 . If spouse is alive, give the details of your  spouse, Name, DOB, etc.
8.  Select the right option of type of premium i.e with Domiciliary or without Domiciliary or with Super top-up or without Super top-up.
9.  Give your Mobile Number and Email-id.
10. After verifying the details filled in, click submit button. Please ensure firmly that your name and spouse name have been given correctly since the Medi-Claim ID cards will be generated only from your submission.
11. After submission, click on the button “Proceed for Payment” to complete the premium payment process.
12. For payment of premium select a) pay on line through net Banking or b) generate challan to pay  at Branch by  cheque or cash, as you desire.
13.  If you choose net Banking (online payment), the screen will go to net Banking login and login as usual to make net payment. Even if you don’t        have net banking  facility, you may use your close relative/friend’s net banking facility to make payment. Please note that debit cards/credit cards are not permitted  due to technical issues faced by the Bank last year.
14. On successful payment, Reference number will be created and receipt will be shown for the corresponding Online payment. Save it or take a print.
15. In case of Payment Awaited Status, you are advised to retry after 30 minutes.
16. If you choose Challan generation, select the Offline payment mode. System will generate challan. Take a print and submit it at any of our  branches,  preferably your pension paying branch, along with cash or cheque. Branches are given instructions through the Bank circular  as to how to make remittance.

 

PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE PAYMENT IS MADE ON OR BEFORE 24TH OF OCTOBER 2018 !
