PENSIONERS – LIFE CERTIFICATE DUE IN NOVEMBER 2020 !

Comrades,

You are aware that as per Pension Regulations, Pensioner has to submit his Life Certificate to the Pension Paying branch during the month of November every year.  As such, it is due for this year and the relevant circular reminding the same has been issued by our Bank vide circular Transient series (File F) Circular No.86/2020-21 dated 06.10.2020, which is attached hereunder.

Pensioners are advised to visit their pension paying branch or atleast any one of our IOB branches nearby, to enable them to issue Life certificate for them and upload the status in the system on or before 31.12.2020. They can also utilise the facility given under Jeevan Praman by the Government of India if they have the bio-metric facility at their residence.

Latest Life certificate format with the details required by the Bank is given hereunder.

Please note that this Life certificate process has to be completed before 31.12.2020,  otherwise pension for the month Janurary 2021 will not be paid by the Bank.
